This strategic leadership role drives commercial planning and operational alignment across rare disease and cardio-metabolic portfolios on a global scale. The Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to shape commercial strategies, evaluate market trends, and guide high-impact decisions. You will oversee international distributor relationships, contribute to product launch planning, and ensure operational efficiency across multiple brands and markets. Accountabilities:
  • Lead global commercial planning initiatives and integrate cross-brand strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Translate corporate goals into actionable annual operational plans for international markets.
  • Oversee distributor relationships, ensuring product delivery and adherence to service standards worldwide.
  • Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and regulatory teams to align commercial objectives with organizational goals.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives and enhance executive visibility for business unit leadership.
  • Conduct strategic projects, including indication assessments, pipeline recommendations, and market trend analysis.
  • Evaluate brand performance metrics and industry data to inform decision-making and support portfolio growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive industry or relevant professional experience, including 4–6 years in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical markets.
  • Expertise in rare diseases, commercial operations, business development, brand marketing, or consulting.
  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MBA) and experience with franchise or brand-level marketing strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in product launch strategy, lifecycle management, and cross-functional project execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence business direction.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities across global teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and readiness to travel internationally (10–15%).
