Technical Coordinator at Jobgether – India

In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating complex technical modernization and service projects within a global maritime environment. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution support for vessel-based installations and upgrades, ensuring smooth coordination between engineers, vendors, and internal teams. The position requires strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced international setting. You will act as a central point of contact for technical operations, ensuring that schedules, materials, and documentation are aligned for successful project delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured coordination work with real operational impact across global locations.

In this role, you will oversee the coordination and execution of technical modernization projects, ensuring smooth logistics, accurate documentation, and efficient communication across stakeholders. You will support engineering teams, vendors, and partners while maintaining high-quality planning and operational follow-through.

• Coordinate end-to-end planning and logistics for vessel modernization and service projects
• Manage scheduling of engineers, service partners, and vessel-related activities in collaboration with regional teams
• Track delivery timelines for equipment, materials, and project milestones
• Maintain and update ERP systems (SAP) with accurate project, customer, and operational data
• Support quotation, proposal, and order management processes in collaboration with technical managers
• Coordinate international travel arrangements for field engineers, including logistics and documentation support
• Liaise with vendors to obtain quotes and monitor material readiness and delivery status
• Facilitate communication between internal teams, customers, agents, and global partners
• Assist in vetting and onboarding processes for technical partners and support related reporting
• Follow up on sales pipeline activities, project documentation, and operational reporting tasks
• Ensure alignment across departments for pricing, invoicing, scheduling, and execution accuracy

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in technical coordination, service operations, or procurement-related environments. You are comfortable working in cross-functional, international teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in technical coordination, procurement, service planning, or similar roles
• Experience in marine, industrial, elevator, or technical service environments is preferred
• Strong understanding of operational workflows, project coordination, or subcontractor management
• Proficiency in ERP systems, ideally SAP Business One
• Experience handling international travel arrangements and logistics coordination
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to interpret technical documents such as service agreements and project scopes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or distributed environment
