This role offers the opportunity to lead and expand the organization’s most strategic customer relationships, focusing on enterprise accounts in the NYC Metro area. The Majors Sales Director will drive new business development and growth, manage complex sales cycles, and engage stakeholders across multiple organizational levels. This position blends consultative selling, technical fluency, and strategic foresight to influence enterprise data operations and analytics adoption. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to shaping sales processes, and represent the organization in client interactions with credibility and impact. This is a high-visibility role with measurable revenue targets, requiring a proactive, curious, and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts, from lead generation to ongoing utilization.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving adoption of enterprise solutions.
- Conduct consultative sales, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business value.
- Manage Proof-of-Concept (POC) implementations and coordinate with internal teams for successful delivery.
- Collaborate with product and sales leadership to shape the enterprise roadmap and sales processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, data leaders, and executives.
- Contribute to team initiatives, sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement across the sales organization.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience closing technology sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Strong understanding of analytics, SQL, BI, and enterprise data operations; prior experience with analytics or open-source software preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple client teams.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and consultative selling skills.
- Experience contributing to team projects and collaborating cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; familiarity with dbt or similar platforms is a plus.
