Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for embedding HR deliverables as assigned within allocated business portfolio/sites. Position operates under general supervision/direction.
- Works closely with, consults and builds capacity of Jet Aviation's site leadership to effectively and confidently manage their workforce and achieve their strategic and tactical goals.
- Responsible for handling day-to-day enquiries from employees and managers regarding Human Resources related issues, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as a site expert for, and challenge managers on, the staffing process - workforce planning, sourcing, identification, assessment, attitude and capability.
- Facilitates end-to-end or participates in various HR activities such as: performance management, merit pay planning/bonus reviews, succession planning, training, career development, engagement & morale, HR policy guidance & interpretation and recruitment.
- Remain objective whilst being responsible for taking action to ensure integrity of all employment practices, including but not limited to: recruitment, promotions, ethics, investigations and discipline actions, ensuring they are conducted in compliance with equal employment opportunity laws and state and federal jurisdiction/s.
- High energy and performance as a resourceful leader with the capability to quickly take control of responsibilities and establish as a credible HR advisor.
- Conflict resolution and management skills as well as strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
- Interpersonal and team leadership skills with the ability to interface with a wide range of personnel at all levels internal and external to the company.
- Partner with management to develop and drive best practice change management.
- Facilitation of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and conflict coaching as required.
- Leverages metrics analysis and own professional insights, to accurately interpret and make informed recommendations, and for escalation to the HR Business Partner as appropriate.
- Develop thorough knowledge, understanding and utilisation of company Human Resource Information Systems.
- Ensure all corporate information is captured within company business systems adhering to recordkeeping procedures and workplace protocols.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.
- Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated skill in drafting, interpreting and applying human resources policies and procedures for a medium to large multidisciplinary organisation (matrix environment advantageous).
- High level of confidentiality and ability to exercise discretion in a professional manner.
- High level computer skills encompassing word processing, database and spread sheets with an ability to also readily adapt to using corporate software applications.
- Demonstrated skills in preparing correspondence, report writing, research and data analysis.
- Well-developed interpersonal and oral communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with a range of internal and external customers, at varying layers and levels using a range of mediums.
- Experience with iCHRIS/ SuccessFactors or other medium to large enterprise Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) would be highly regarded.
