POSITION SUMMARY
This person will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities and ensuring smooth shift operations across manufacturing teams. Additionally, this person will support communication between shifts, monitor performance, and help maintain alignment with production schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate daily shift activities to ensure alignment with production schedules
• Facilitate communication between outgoing and incoming shifts to ensure continuity
• Monitor production performance and escalate issues to leadership as needed
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures
• Support workforce assignments and shift-level task coordination
• Track production metrics and report shift performance results
• Partner with Maintenance and Quality teams to address real-time operational challenges
• Support onboarding and training of new team members during assigned shifts
• Maintain organized production areas in alignment with 5S standards
• Reinforce a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline
• Assist in minimizing downtime and improving overall production flow
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
• High school diploma or equivalent required; leadership or supervisory training preferred
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate team activities and support shift operations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Understanding of production processes and workflow management
• Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments preferred (aerospace, defense, semiconductor, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Routinely performs duties in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during a full shift
• Must be able to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks as needed
• Exposure to manufacturing conditions including noise, heat, and production activity
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
