Palantir / Maven Product Engineer (Mid-Level) at NetCentrics Corporation – Herndon, Virginia

NetCentrics is seeking a Product Engineer to support development and integration of advanced analytics capabilities within the Palantir Maven Smart System environment supporting national security missions.

This role contributes to the design, development, and deployment of mission software that integrates distributed data systems, machine learning capabilities, and operational decision-support workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mission applications, backend services, and integrations within the Maven Smart System ecosystem.
• Build scalable data pipelines and distributed processing systems supporting multi-source intelligence data.
• Integrate machine learning models, analytics platforms, and sensor-derived data into operational workflows.
• Develop user-facing applications and tools supporting real-time mission decision-making.
• Collaborate with data scientists, mission operators, product teams, and software engineers to deliver high-impact capabilities.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and performance of mission software systems.
• Support deployment, testing, and operational rollout of analytics capabilities across mission environments.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years experience in software engineering, data engineering, or distributed systems.
• Strong development experience in Python, Java, Scala, or Go.
• Experience building distributed systems, microservices architectures, or real-time data platforms.
• Experience working with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Kubernetes, containerized platforms).
• Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines, operational analytics platforms, or geospatial data systems preferred.
• Experience working in mission-oriented or high-security environments preferred.
• Active Secret clearance required
• Must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI
