- Own the overall performance, quality, and scalability of product catalogs across Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and other marketplaces.
- Continuously review competitor offers, pricing, shipping, promotions, and value propositions to maintain strong market positioning.
- Lead merchandising decisions including promotions, discounts, and campaign strategies aligned with revenue, inventory, and margin goals.
- Manage and prioritize workflows for internal specialists across listings, QA, content, and product operations teams.
- Create execution tickets with clear scope, urgency, ownership, and success metrics to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor marketplace KPIs including revenue, traffic, conversion rates, visibility, and operational performance.
- Identify underperforming categories or listings, diagnose root causes, and implement optimization plans.
- Evaluate and approve new product onboarding opportunities based on demand potential, competitiveness, and operational readiness.
- Build scalable processes, quality standards, and reporting frameworks to improve speed and consistency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen marketplace presence and sustainable growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, merchandising, or digital retail operations.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or other multi-channel commerce platforms.
- Expertise in pricing strategy, promotional planning, and competitive analysis.
- Experience managing catalogs, listings, product data, and merchandising execution at scale.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs, trends, and profitability metrics.
- Familiarity with workflow management, ticketing systems, and cross-functional coordination.
- Understanding of marketplace policies, compliance standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Bonus experience in SEO, product content optimization, or enhanced brand content strategies.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and aligning multiple contributors.
