  • Process referrals and update records accurately across EMR and scheduling systems to ensure timely follow-up and status visibility
  • Deliver professional, empathetic support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding appointments, insurance, and therapy-related questions
  • Collaborate with authorization, verification, and clinic teams to resolve scheduling barriers and improve access outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation, monitor compliance issues, and escalate concerns when appropriate

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, patient access, medical administration, or customer service preferred
  • Experience using EMR systems, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office tools strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a patient-first mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism when handling sensitive information
  • Problem-solving mindset with adaptability and willingness to learn evolving workflows
  • Must reside in Georgia to be eligible for this remote position

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly compensation of $18–$20, based on experience, background, and location
  • Full-time remote opportunity with multiple schedule options including early and late shifts
  • Career growth opportunities within a mission-driven healthcare organization
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment focused on professional development
  • Meaningful work that helps expand access to rehabilitation and therapy services
  • Equal opportunity workplace committed to inclusive hiring practices.
