This is a high-impact leadership role focused on guiding engineering teams building advanced solutions in software supply chain security. You will lead a team responsible for dependency analysis and management, helping ensure secure, scalable, and reliable systems across large-scale platforms. The position combines technical leadership with people management, requiring hands-on involvement in architecture decisions and engineering practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with evolving business and security needs. In a remote-first and highly collaborative environment, you’ll drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and influence long-term strategy. This role is ideal for a leader who remains deeply technical while fostering team growth and operational excellence.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, driving performance, engagement, and continuous professional development.
  • Architect and oversee the design of secure, scalable, and cost-effective technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including code quality standards, review processes, and deployment guidelines.
  • Drive project execution, including roadmap planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery of features and improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical initiatives with broader organizational goals.
  • Oversee system reliability and live operations, developing processes and playbooks to resolve complex production issues.
  • Promote innovation by contributing to tooling, automation, and reusable engineering frameworks.
Requirements:
  • 7–9+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong track record of delivering production-grade systems.
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams in a fast-paced, scalable environment.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and modern development practices.
  • Experience or familiarity with cybersecurity domains such as vulnerability management, dependency analysis, or secure software development.
  • Ability to balance technical leadership with people management while remaining hands-on in coding and architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $140,400 to $372,300 annually, depending on experience and location.
  • Eligibility for performance-based bonuses and stock/equity programs.
  • Fully remote work environment with flexible working arrangements.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Generous paid time off and wellness support programs.
  • Learning and development opportunities to support continuous career growth.
  • Inclusive, diverse, and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Access to cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to work on impactful, large-scale systems.
