Facilities Cleaner in Rockford, Illinois at KADON PRECISION MACHINING, LLC

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented cleaning person to maintain cleanliness and organization in both office spaces and a machine shop environment. This role helps ensure a safe, sanitary, and professional workplace for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize office areas including desks, conference rooms, break rooms, and restrooms
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in both office and shop areas
• Remove trash and recycling; dispose of waste properly
• Wipe down surfaces, windows, and high-touch areas regularly
• Clean around machinery and shop equipment while following safety guidelines
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors
• Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Basic understanding of cleaning products and safety practices is a plus
