Overview

Reporting to the AVP of HEOR, the Senior Director, Commercial and Market Access Analytics (CMAA) is a strategic, client facing leader responsible for driving and accelerating insights generation to support CMAA decision-making, leveraging Inovalons real-world data (RWD) assets and outside data sources. In this role, you will build and lead a team focused on CMAA that complements our HEOR capabilities, develop proposals and capture business, and carry out best-in-class analytics consulting for our clients. You will also drive innovation around leveraging workflow and orchestration tools, including AI, to accelerate time to insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the AVP of HEOR and leadership to build a CMAA RWD analytics and insights capability at Inovalon
  • Working cross-functionally with our advanced analytics programming team, you will own the strategy for integrating Inovalons RWD data assets and when required, outside data sources, to execute and deliver high-value CMAA projects for our Pharma and Medtech clients, including but not limited to:
  • Patient journey analytics
  • Treatment patterns, line of therapy analyses
  • HCP targeting and segmentation
  • Market share and competitive dynamics
  • Real world evidence (RWE) for payer negotiations
  • You will serve as a senior point of contact for key CMAA clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business
  • Lead proposal development and drive new business capture by identifying client needs, shaping solutions, conducting capability presentations, and contributing to revenue growth
  • Think innovatively, spearheading initiatives to automate CMAA use cases, using modern workflow, automation, and AI-based tools, to accelerate time to insight
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a highperforming team with expertise in RWD, commercial analytics, and market access

Qualifications

Required

  • Masters or PhD in Economics, Finance, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Statistics, Health Services Research, Data Science, or related field preferred
  • Intimate knowledge of the drug and device commercialization process and related RWD-based evidence and insights required to support it
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience conducting pharmaceutical analytics, real-world evidence, CMAA insights, or HEOR
  • 5+ years experience in client facing or consulting roles with a proven track record of managing and expanding client relationships in pharma and medtech industries
  • Deep experience with RWD, including claims and electronic health record data, registries, lab data, and publicly available datasets.
  • Deep understanding of RWD analytics methodologies, advanced statistics, data visualization, and data science approaches
  • Experienced in data story telling; excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in proposal development and business capture activities
  • Ability to lead multiple complex projects and teams simultaneously

Nice to have:

  • Technicalproficiencyin SQL, Python, R and familiarity with Snowflake
  • Experience with automated workflow and orchestration tools
  • Experience working with AI, especially Gemini and/or Claude

Inovalon Offers a Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$170,900—$220,000 USD
