EHS Supervisor at Airsys Cooling Technologies – Greer, South Carolina

Position Summary:

The EHS Specialist/Supervisor is responsible for leading all Environmental, Health, and Safety efforts at the AIRSYS facility in Woodruff, SC. This role ensures compliance with OSHA, SCDES, and other applicable regulations while developing and maintaining policies that support a proactive safety culture. The role also manages environmental programs, employee safety training, and regulatory reporting to protect employee health and ensure operational compliance.

This position requires up to 10% travel to support two additional AIRSYS facilities located in Upstate South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the site lead for all safety-related initiatives and compliance programsMaintain and manage the facility’s Air Permit, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), and Waste Management PlanDevelop, implement, and regularly update EHS policies, procedures, and training materialsConduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessmentsLead incident investigations and implement corrective/preventive actionsMaintain records of incidents, safety meetings, environmental reports, andtrainingFacilitate new hire safety orientation and coordinate ongoing employee trainingCollaborate with operations and HR teams to ensure alignment with EHS goals and regulationsProvide EHS support for twoadditionalsites in the Upstate region (approx. 10% travel)

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field and2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or general industry setting
OR4+ years of relevant EHS experience without a degreeStrong knowledge of OSHA and SCDES regulationsExperience managing environmental permits, including Air Permits, SWPPP, and hazardous waste plansProven ability to develop and deliver safety trainingStrong organizational, documentation, and communication skillsProficiencywith Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
