• First revision designs
• Vendor identification and coordination
• Operation check out
  

Process design and control

• Proof of concept
• Robustness testing
• Strategy for control
• Implement control methodologies
  

• Create product and process documentation
• Train technicians and operators
• Design and set up work areas (integrate with current plant layout)
• Make first articles in production environment
• Limited rate initial production
  

Troubleshooting (equipment, processing, materials, etc.)

• Non-conformance (NCR) disposition
• Root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) support
• Assist with non-standard items as needed
  

Quality control

• First article qualification
• Inspection and certification
• Institute/install and monitor safety controls
• Operate complicated equipment directly when needed
• Identify and perform periodic maintenance needs and maintain spare parts inventory

• Able to execute responsibilities independently with guidance/instruction

• Able to provide direction for work activities to operators/technicians

• Able to develop solutions to challenges of moderate complexity

• Identifies issues and their potential immediate solutions
