About the Opportunity

Beach Front Property Management is seeking a dynamic and driven District Property Manager to oversee multiple apartment communities in the Whittier area (56 units total). This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a hands-on property management professional who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring teams, and creating positive experiences for residents.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple properties to ensure compliance, efficiency, and performance goals
  • Manage deposit accounting and ensure check disbursements comply with California’s 21-day legal requirement
  • Conduct quarterly file audits and routine property inspections to uphold company and regulatory standards
  • Handle resident relations, lease compliance, notices, and account ledgers with professionalism and care
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and oversee special projects
  • Support leasing and pre-leasing efforts when needed
  • Monitor operating and capital budgets; review and approve expenses within guidelines
  • Serve as a key point of contact between ownership and company leadership
  • Step in as Interim Property Manager during staffing gaps
  • Travel regularly between assigned properties and supervise multi-site operations
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of apartment or multifamily property management experience
  • 1+ year of leadership or staff supervision experience
  • Strong understanding of California property management laws and Fair Housing regulations
  • Experience using Yardi software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and delegation skills
  • Customer service–oriented mindset with leasing experience
  • Reliable transportation for multi-site travel
