About This Position

At Wyze, we make smart home technology accessible to everyone. We're known for disrupting markets with high-quality, affordable products - from cameras to lighting to sensors and more. We believe technology should simplify life, not complicate it. We’re a fast-moving, customer-obsessed team driven by curiosity and powered by data.
The OpportunityWyze is seeking a Finance Business Partner who thrives at the intersection of hands-on execution and strategic enterprise-level judgment. You will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product leaders to understand revenue drivers, evaluate promotional investments, and provide meaningful insights for data-driven decisions necessary to balance growth and profitability. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor with clear communication and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment.
This is a strategic individual contributor role, not a people manager role, but that doesn't mean you aren't a leader. You show up ready to bring the voice of finance in cross-functional conversations to move decisions forward - not just support them.
What You'll Do
  • Work closely with leaders and teams across the organization (Marketing, Sales, Product) to size potential opportunity of initiatives and set-and-manage-against goals/targets
  • Participate in and lead parts of the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Engage with the hardware product teams on pricing and product assortment strategies, assessing the competitive landscape
  • Analyze operational and financial data and provide strategic and actionable insights to business partners that drive outcomes
  • Analyze operational and product costs, identifying trends and opportunities for cost optimization
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and financial reports with product-and-channel-level visibility (example: CPAM by product per channel or return rates per product)
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, financial reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on special projects or new initiatives

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related fields
  • 8+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
  • Demonstrated experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Executive presence and deep ability to influence at all layers of the business
  • Experience in corporate finance, including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience applying AI tools (such as Claude) to automate routine work and free the team to focus on higher-value analysis.
  • Experience in data warehouse and SQL

Total comp package includes base + equity + 20% cash bonus.
CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $145,000 – $170,000 per year.
