This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of complex, large-scale project scheduling across mission-critical infrastructure programs. As a Senior Scheduler, you will play a key role in ensuring project timelines are realistic, transparent, and aligned with strategic objectives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead schedule development, performance tracking, and risk analysis using advanced tools and methodologies. The position blends technical expertise with strategic oversight, enabling you to influence decision-making at both project and executive levels. You will also contribute to improving scheduling standards and mentoring junior team members. - Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of detailed project schedules across all phases, ensuring alignment with scope and deliverables
- Manage Integrated Master Schedules by consolidating inputs from project managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Perform critical path and float analysis to identify schedule drivers, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Monitor project progress, update schedules regularly, and conduct variance analysis against baseline timelines
- Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Enforce scheduling standards, governance frameworks, and compliance with contractual and organizational requirements
- Identify schedule risks and conduct scenario modeling to support mitigation strategies and forecasting accuracy
- Support integration with project controls and Earned Value Management processes to align schedule and cost performance
- Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring junior schedulers and guiding teams on best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in construction, EPC, or mission-critical infrastructure environments
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and solid understanding of Critical Path Method scheduling
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Jira, SharePoint, and MS Office Suite
- Experience with schedule risk analysis, forecasting techniques, and performance metrics (e.g., SPI, SV)
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management and project controls integration
- Preferred certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or AACE PSP (or progress toward certification)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment
