Salary Range: $50k-$60k
Summary of role
The Program Manager is responsible for OPPO’s Arizona operations. The Manager executes on our vision of safe, happy, and healthy OPPOrtunities for members and employees. They ensure we are always working towards our mission and aligned with our vision. The Manager is responsible for financial oversight (budget adherence), team leadership, problem-solving, regulatory compliance, cultivating a positive organizational culture, and ensuring the highest level of care for our clients. This role is not remote.
Prerequisites
Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities
Passionate about helping people.
Understanding that success is measured in meeting or exceeding expectations.
5+ years of leadership experience (HCBS is ideal)
Mastery of computer and internet-based applications: Google Suite, email, MS Office, etc.
Ability to adapt, prioritize, plan, and delegate.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Professional and presents as such.
A minimum of ego: prioritizing team and client success over personal recognition.
Expectations
Staying in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including Arizona’s Department of Economic Security (DDD).
Leading people, iterating on processes, and delivering real solutions in a positive, respectful, and cohesive manner.
Collaborate with the HR Manager to manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management, ensuring all disciplinary actions, including termination, are handled consistently and in compliance with company policy and applicable laws.
Putting out the fires (chief problem solver).
Creates a monthly “Manager Report” by the 10th of each month.
Ability and willingness to work in any role that benefits the company, our members, and/or our employees.
Ability to nurture, mentor, and build a strong team.
Strengthen OPPO’s partnerships and professional relationships.
This role is primarily community-based and requires regular in-person engagement. Responsibilities include visiting members in their homes, workplaces, and other community settings to provide support, coaching, and services.
Consistent communication with stakeholders to further build on relationships.
Actively searches, plans, and acts on ideas/referrals for revenue and operating income growth.
Provide timely information to the supervisor.
Review and respond to Incident Reports.
Identify areas of weakness in our practices, procedures and policies and implement necessary corrections.
Responsible for appropriately addressing emergencies, including those that may happen on a holiday and/or weekend.

Performance Timelines
3 months:
Operating within an approved budget.
Monthly reports.
Build and strengthen relationships with DDD representatives, families, and community partners.
6 months:
Sustaining client levels to pre-transition volume.
Able to manage with no intervention from the owner. Achieve full operational autonomy, demonstrating the ability to manage all aspects of the Arizona operation.
9 months:
Implement and document operational processes that lead to a measurable increase in client and employee satisfaction.
Standardized training program in place that ensures quality member care, regulatory compliance, and proper incident management.
Arizona operation is audit-ready at all times, with compliance documentation in digital files.
12 months:
Net billable hours and billable revenue has increased.
Other Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
Rarely required to lift up to 25 lbs.
