JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Food & Beverage Captain Waitress, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience. From delivering breakfast banquets to supporting events, your work will make a direct impact on our guests’ comfort and satisfaction. We are looking for personable, professional individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and love working as part of a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to all guests
- Oversee food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage department labor and productivity
- Lead, train, coach, and communicate effectively with team members
- Prepare food items as needed
- Transport and deliver breakfast packages to guest rooms according to time slots
- Ensure guest requests are met, attend to complaints, and escalate issues to the Manager on Duty
- Handle minibar room service requests
- Collect empty dishes from guest doors
- Clean and maintain work areas, including dishwashing and storage
- Set up and tear down spaces for events at Village Centre & Mountainside per established standards
- Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for each event
- Deliver and serve food & beverages for events, including coffee, tea, and beverage stations
- Refresh event set-ups and ensure spaces remain tidy throughout events
- Ensure event equipment and supplies are properly stored after events
- Work safely and report any hazards or deficiencies to Maintenance or Duty Manager
- Maintain high grooming and professional standards while providing exceptional service
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Manager on Duty
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Serving it Right certificate
- British Columbia Driver’s License (Class 5)
