Field & Events Marketer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Field & Events Marketer in the United States.

In this role, you will take ownership of in-person marketing initiatives across industry events, conferences, and trade shows throughout North America. You will be responsible for identifying the right events, planning participation strategies, and executing high-impact activations that generate real pipeline and revenue opportunities. Working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams, you will ensure every event presence is purposeful, polished, and performance-driven. This is a highly hands-on role where logistics, creativity, and execution all come together on the ground. You will manage everything from booth planning to post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless delivery at every stage. The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and operational excellence.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of field marketing and event execution, ensuring every activation contributes directly to pipeline generation and brand visibility.

  • Research, evaluate, and select industry events, trade shows, and conferences aligned with target audiences and business goals.
  • Build and maintain a 12-month events calendar, prioritizing opportunities based on ROI and strategic relevance.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, organizers, and venues, including sponsorships, booth space, and speaking opportunities.
  • Manage end-to-end event execution, including logistics, booth setup, swag, travel coordination, and on-site operations.
  • Act as the on-site lead during events, ensuring smooth execution, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining brand presence.
  • Partner with sales teams to drive pre-event outreach, schedule meetings, and support lead capture and qualification.
  • Run pre- and post-event campaigns with marketing to maximize attendance, engagement, and pipeline impact.
  • Own event budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, ensuring strong ROI and financial discipline.
  • Define KPIs and deliver post-event reporting to evaluate success and identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements

This role requires strong field marketing or events experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to execute complex logistics in fast-paced environments.

  • 1–4 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or event coordination, ideally in a B2B or tech environment.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end events, including planning, execution, and post-event reporting.
  • Experience managing or supporting event budgets with strong attention to ROI and cost efficiency.
  • Ability to define KPIs and translate event activity into measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple vendors, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging executives, colleagues, and prospects.
  • Comfort with CRM tools such as HubSpot and familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity and workflows.
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% across North America (and occasionally internationally as needed).
  • Calm, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in live event environments.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary ($80,000–$108,000) with performance-based bonuses
  • Fully remote role with high travel exposure and autonomy
  • Paid time off and flexible work structure
  • Fast-paced, low-bureaucracy environment with high ownership
  • Direct access to senior leadership and founding team
  • High visibility role with clear impact on pipeline and revenue
  • Career acceleration opportunities for high performers
  • Access to tools and resources for productivity and upskilling
