This leadership role sits at the forefront of a fast-growing fintech environment, focused on building and scaling a next-generation annuities sales platform designed to simplify retirement income solutions. You will own both strategy and execution across sales and operations, acting as a hands-on leader who actively drives revenue while shaping the long-term go-to-market model. The role blends deep financial services expertise with modern, data-driven sales leadership in a highly regulated, customer-centric space. You will build and coach high-performing teams, define scalable processes, and directly influence product and marketing strategy through customer insights. This is a highly visible position where commercial leadership, analytical thinking, and operational excellence converge. - Own the full annuities sales funnel and revenue targets, operating as a player-coach who actively sells while leading team performance and execution
- Build, scale, and develop high-performing inside sales and operations teams, including hiring, onboarding, and continuous coaching
- Design and refine sales playbooks, scripts, and structured coaching rhythms to improve close rates and customer experience
- Oversee end-to-end annuities operations including licensing, suitability, rollovers, funding, commissions, and post-issue servicing
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across sales and operations to ensure data-driven decision-making and accountability
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to refine go-to-market strategy, improve lead quality, and shape product requirements based on customer insights
- Drive process scalability and operational excellence across the annuities lifecycle, ensuring a seamless customer journey
- 7–12+ years of experience leading inside sales and operations teams in a high-performance, regulated financial services environment
- Proven track record as a top-performing seller with deep expertise in annuities and consultative sales
- Active Life & Annuity producer license with up-to-date compliance training required
- Strong mastery of annuities processes including suitability, rollovers, replacements, funding, and servicing
- Experience building scalable sales teams, playbooks, and performance coaching frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM/telephony systems
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills with a strong ownership mindset
