Estimator at Trades Industrial Company Inc – Greenville, South Carolina

Freeman is a division of TICI. We are a full-service metal and custom fabrication provider. We are seeking to bring an estimating and scheduling role onto our team. This is a high visibility customer facing role within the organization. A successful candidate will be a patient, team first individual that is upbeat, and enjoys steady interaction through-out their day. Strong communication skills and a willingness to problem solve are a must for this role! Prior experience is great, but we are willing to train the right person!

Responsibilities include:
• Reviewing drawings and specifications on customer requests to quote.
• Input drawings into Trimble and Quickpen for take-off and creation of estimates.
• Draft proposals for estimated work and send to customers.
• Interacting with customers, seeking out feedback on open estimates and opportunities for future projects.
• Track and trend requests for quote and awarded projects.
• Programing awarded work into the Fabrication Shop Software for processing in the shop.
• Working with customers to schedule deliveries and arrange appropriate shipping to meet the required schedule.
• Assisting the Shop Manager with ad-hoc requests as needed.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Have strong computer skills; excel, word, adobe.
• Experience with Trimble, FabShop, or Quickpen is a great, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
• Excellent attention to detail and deadlines.
