About This Position

The data analyst helps Radiant Systems Inc. by creating procedures, instruments, and reports that provide accurate and timely information. This frees up analysts and decision-makers to spend more time finding useful insights and less time collecting data. With little oversight, the analyst thinks strategically, develops suitable analytical solutions, and implements them to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify data-centric processes that can be automated
  • Create interactive tools and processes that increase productivity
  • Understand the organization’s data resources; know when and which to use for different situations
  • Financial reporting design, development, maintenance, and support
  • Own the monthly/weekly reporting generation and distribution
  • Data pipeline design, development, maintenance, and support
  • Data visualization design, development, maintenance, and support
  • Create and maintain documentation for report and data pipeline designs and user guides
  • Ad-hoc data gathering, analysis and reporting
  • Experience & Skills Required:

Basic Skills
  • Two years of data visualization experience with Power BI
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
  • Power Query, pivot tables, and advanced formulas
  • Intermediate SQL knowledge
  • Understanding of database and data warehouse concepts
  • Intermediate statistics knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly collaborative

Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with finance and accounting concepts and principles
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages like Python or VBA
  • Experience with Jet Reports


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., R, Java) is a plus.
