Specialties Warehouse Associate at ALLY BUILDING SOLUTIONS – Orlando, Florida

Ally Building Solutions provides flooring products and quality installation, a full line of window treatments, a wide range of cabinetry options, appliances, millwork, glass enclosures, wire shelving, and design studio solutions to new home builders in greater Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay and Fort Myers

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our Specialties team. The Warehouse Associate will pick and stage orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities

• Cut, polish, and stage Specialties specific products based off of the paperwork given to by the production team.
• Accurately pull jobs daily capturing all needed stock and ordered materials.
• Assist with cycle counting of inventory and restock supplies.
• Receive materials ensuring all deliveries are accurate, then document in system.
• Accept, verify, inspect, and record all deliveries according to policy
• Record, report, and return defective items.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Notify Team Lead of any shipping or receiving issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Warehouse Associate Requirements

• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience
• The ability to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
• The ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds consistently and up to eighty pounds occasionally.
