Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Product Manager will be responsible for planning and developing results-driven marketing plans for Zino and Portfolio Brands. The Product Manager will lead the development, implementation, and management of strategies to enhance brand awareness, market share, visibility and customer loyalty. This position will also oversee the Zino Brand Activation Manager and Zino National Tour, ensuring a seamless coordination and execution of brand initiatives. This role combines creative, strategic and analytical skills to drive profitable brand growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Product Strategy and Management
- Develop a strong consumer, trade and channel strategy and roadmap aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Work closely with Business Analysis team and other key stakeholders to identity opportunities on how to profitably grow market share
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize brand portfolio and distribution strategy based on thorough market research and analysis
- Monitor product performance, conducing regular assessments to adjust strategies as needed to meet business goals
- Product lifecycle administrative management, ensuring all process and touchpoints are effectively executed to achieve optimal product performance
Brand Building
- Design and execute engaging and interactive trade and consumer programs to increase brand awareness, strengthen customer loyalty, and drive sales.
- Work in close partnership with the Global Marketing Team in Switzerland to ensure alignment with global brand strategies, share insights on market performance and adapt international initiatives to local market needs.
- Plan and oversee events, sponsorships, and activations, including the Zino National Tour, to enhance visibility and audience engagement
- Source trade and consumers materials to drive brand awareness and sales
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms and touchpoints. Develop and manage trade and consumer marketing materials, ensuring they align with a clear, well-thought-out go-to-market strategy.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to create compelling marketing materials, innovative program ideas and tools that support go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Global Marketing Team to ensure alignment of marketing strategies and initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional departments such in-field sales, key accounts, creative services team, finance and customer experience to foster seamless coordination and support for brand objectives
- Facilitate communication by acting as a central point of contact between departments to streamline communication, ensure clarity, and align priorities across teams.
- Integrate feedback by gathering input from sales, customer experience, and other teams to identify challenges and opportunities for continuous improvement in marketing and brand strategies.
- Monitor and Report Progress by regularly updating stakeholders on the progress and impact of collaborative efforts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Leadership and Team Management
- Provide guidance, coaching and development to the Zino Brand Activation Manager, ensuring seamless planning and execution of brand initiatives.
- Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency while delivering impactful results.
- Identify cross-departmental challenges and bottlenecks to ensure smooth execution of brand and marketing initiatives.
- Responsible for own work and required to supervise one direct report. Occasional in-market travel required.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university desirable; 5-6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous Product or Brand Management experience. Experience with Project Management tools such as JIRA, Digital Asset Management, SAP C4.
