• Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer the System Director of the Business Office will provide leadership and operational directives for all Business Office/Patient Accounting activities related to the claims management and collections of Ephraim McDowell Health’s receivables to ensure timely, efficient cash collections to support the overall financial goals of the Organization. • Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort

  • Works in a well-lighted, ventilated, and air conditioned office area. Minimal physical exertion. Must be able to work with constant interruptions. The task of this job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently.

• Minimum Qualifications or Equivalents
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Seven to ten (7-10) years billing and revenue cycle experience.
  • EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Computer terminal, calculator, PC and printers, and copier. Excellent communication skills.
