Embedded Software Consultant: 6+ Month Contract: Remote /Hybrid Working

We currently seeking a Embedded Software Consultant for a growing Telecommunications company in Cambridge.

The Project:

The work will be on 5G Non-terrestrial Network (NTN) Project, terminal-satellite direct communication technology based on the new radio (NR) interface technology developed by 3GPP in R17 and is also an important supplement to terrestrial cellular communication technology.

With the integration of the satellite communication network and the ground 5G network, NTN can provide coverage without being restricted by terrain and landform, and connect the sky, earth, sea, and other spaces to form an integrated ubiquitous access network that enables on-demand access in all scenarios. This work with be coding in a small area the modem, or a supplementary ST micro used to control the peripherals

Essential Skills:

• Embedded Software Engineering Experience (Embedded C & Python for Scripting)
• Real-Time (RTOS)
• Microprocessor Experience (6 Cores up to 18)
• 5G NR/5G (3GPP)
• Modem
• Good Communications Skills

Contract:

• 6 Months+
• Hybrid
• Inside IR35
