Preschool Teacher - NJ P-3; CE; or CEAS is Required at RARITAN BAY AREA YMCA – Perth Amboy, New Jersey

The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is currently accepting applications/resumes for a certified Preschool Teacher for our Y's Learning Center. A New Jersey P-3, CE, or CEAS is required to be considered for this position.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic urban, growing organization just 5 miles west of New York City in the water front city of Perth Amboy. The Raritan Bay Area YMCA has served the ever-evolving needs of our community since 1912. We enthusiastically serve over 6,000 members in the Raritan Bay area in our community building initiatives through Healthy Living, Youth Development and Social Responsibility.

Under the direction of the Preschool Director, the Preschool Teacher is responsible for the delivery of a high-quality educational experience, using the Creative Curriculum, for the children and families under their care with the aid of a Teacher Assistant.

Salary range: $50,000-$54,000/annually*

*based on academic year - 10 months

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Education; as well as a State of New Jersey Teaching Certification (P-3), a CE, or a CEAS in P3.
• Must have previous experience teaching Pre-K children ages 3 to 5 years old, preferably in a daycare setting.
