Head of Strategic Services

Head of Strategic Services – Remote with unlimited paid holiday!
Infinity Group are a innovative Microsoft Cloud Solution Partner based in the UK. We excel in providing award-winning IT Support, Digital Transformation, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultancy services.
With a robust team of over 170 professionals, we operate from offices in Tunbridge Wells and London Paddington. Our exceptional work has earned us the prestigious title of Finalist for Microsoft Partner of the Year for Dynamics Business Central.
We are dedicated to fostering a more productive and secure work environment for organizations utilizing Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
Guided by core values of empathy, creativity, ambition, authenticity, and confidence, we celebrate diversity and strive to create a supportive and innovative work environment.
We are committed to the well-being and growth of our employees, and we prioritize continuous learning and development through fully funded training programs.
Our focus on people, expertise, and commitment to excellence underscores our mission to make a positive impact in the tech industry.
Role Overview:
Infinity Group is seeking a Head of Strategic Services to define, lead, and evolve our strategic services capability. This role is responsible for ensuring Infinity leads with business outcomes, value, and strategic insight, positioning us as a trusted transformation partner rather than a technology implementer.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, sales, and service design. The successful candidate will shape how Infinity takes value to market, articulate compelling transformation narratives, and partner with senior stakeholders to influence complex, highvalue opportunities.

While a strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem is essential, we also require a leader who can translate strategy into direction, guide service evolution, and enable sales teams to lead with confidence and credibility at executive level.
What skills and working characteristics should this person have?
  • Proven experience in a senior strategic, consulting, or customerfacing leadership role within a Microsoft Partner, consultancy, or technology services organisation.
  • Strong track record of engaging at Clevel, shaping strategic roadmaps, and leading outcomefocused transformation discussions.
  • Demonstrable ability to articulate business value, strategy, and transformation, rather than leading with solution design.
  • Experience shaping service propositions, strategic offerings, or gotomarket approaches.
  • Broad understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem (Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, AI/Copilot) sufficient to establish credibility.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience influencing deal shape, positioning, and business cases.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge thinking constructively and influence senior stakeholders.
As a Head of Strategic Services, youll be responsible for:

Strategic Services Leadership

  • Own and evolve Infinity’s strategic services vision, ensuring alignment with market demand, customer objectives, and longterm growth strategy.
  • Define how Infinity positions and delivers strategic services across Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Data, AI, and Copilot — always through a businessvalue lens.
  • Establish clear service narratives that link technology investment to outcomes such as growth, efficiency, resilience, and transformation.
  • Act as a strategic counterpart to Sales and Executive Leadership in shaping gotomarket direction.

Client & Executive Engagement

  • Operate as a trusted advisor to Clevel and senior client stakeholders, helping customers define and realise their strategic change agendas.
  • Lead executivelevel discovery sessions, roadmap workshops, and strategic planning engagements.
  • Translate complex organisational challenges into clear, outcomeled service propositions.
  • Represent Infinity credibly in senior client engagements, partnerships, and strategic discussions.

Sales Partnership & Deal Shaping

  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to shape complex and highvalue opportunities at an early stage.
  • Support sales conversations by articulating why change, why now, and why Infinity, rather than focusing on solution detail.
  • Influence commercial structures and positioning where required, ensuring solutions are aligned to customer value and strategic intent.
  • Enable sales teams with strategic thinking, service positioning, and executivelevel messaging.

Service Innovation & Differentiation

  • Identify opportunities to differentiate Infinity’s services through innovation, packaging, and strategic offerings.
  • Work closely with Architecture, Delivery, and Product teams to ensure services are commercially viable, scalable, and aligned to market needs.
  • Ensure emerging technologies (AI, Copilot, automation, dataled solutions) are framed and positioned in terms of business impact, not technical capability.
  • Stay informed on Microsoft’s roadmap, market trends, and competitor positioning to guide service evolution.

Leadership & Capability Development

  • Provide leadership and direction to senior consultants, architects, and strategists involved in strategic services delivery.
  • Develop a culture centred on outcomes, value creation, and client trust.
  • Coach and mentor senior team members to operate confidently as strategic advisors.
  • Act as a connector between Sales, Delivery, Architecture, and Microsoft to ensure joinedup execution.
Like the rest of the Infinity team, you'll benefit from:
  • The opportunity to work for one of the leading Microsoft Cloud Solution Partners in the UK.
  • Work in a great culture, highly ambitious, collaborative, humble and we pride ourselves in making others look cool be it our colleagues or clients.
  • Benefits include Unlimited Annual Leave, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance, Company Shares, Electric Car Scheme and Flexible Working.
  • A newly renovated office with a break-out area, decent coffee, and a pool table.
  • Weekly company events (Think Bigger Friday with Drinks) and quarterly social events with your teams and company-wide affairs including our very own ‘Illuminate’ Annual Awards Gala, Christmas Party, and summer fun. These are not obligatory but there are very few of us who don’t want to be part of the fun and we include your partners too.
What are the next steps?
  • Apply with your current resume or link to your LinkedIn profile directly on our careers page – https://www.infinitygroup.co.uk/careers/
  • Have a quick call with Dom or Keiran (our internal recruiters), to go over the position in more detail and answer any questions you have.
  • 1st stage interview, usually via Teams.
  • 2nd / final stage ideally in person as we like to meet everyone in person and show you around our amazing office.
