Compensation: $225,000–$290,000 per year
Location: San Jose, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5x8hr shifts | No weekends, No Call

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $225,000–$290,000/year (commensurate with experience)

About the Role:

As a General Practitioner at our community health clinic, you will provide comprehensive, whole-person care across the lifespan. Your focus will include preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatric care, and behavioral health integration in a supportive, multi-disciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-scope primary care to new and existing patients (adults and children)
  • Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
  • Coordinate with specialists and behavioral health providers when appropriate
  • Document patient interactions using EHR (electronic health records)
  • Educate patients and families about preventive care, lifestyle changes, and disease management
  • Collaborate with medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Practice
  • California medical license (active or in process)
  • Valid DEA license and BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new grads with strong clinical training will be considered
