About the Role

A-MED Ambulance is seeking skilled and motivated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care and safe medical transportation in the New Orleans area. As part of a dedicated EMS team, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, deliver pre-hospital care, and ensure safe, timely transport of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to 911, interfacility, and non-emergency calls

• Provide high-quality basic life support and patient care

• Operate and maintain ambulance equipment and supplies

• Document assessments, treatments, and transports in electronic systems

• Collaborate with paramedics, dispatchers, and hospital staff

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana or National Registry EMT certification

• Current CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)

• Valid Louisiana driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical and Mental Requirements
