About This Position
Purpose:
Independently executes local process technology activities to ensure seamless product industrialization,
scale-up, trouble shooting and change management.

scale-up, trouble shooting and change management.
Principal Responsibilities:

- Uphold DDW’s Mission Statement, Quality Policy, and Values and Beliefs.
- Perform work accurately and reliably with proper thoroughness according to established
- procedures.
- Proper work ethic including being at work when scheduled, arriving to work on time, and being
- ready to work at the start of the workday or shift
- Set-up manufacturing instructions, production versions including specific manufacturing
- requirements related to equipment, formula, raw materials and certifications e.g. kosher.
- Trouble shoots manufacturing problems related to non-conformances, or manufacturing
- inefficiencies.
- Identify opportunities and supports local process technology improvement projects, for example
- linked to LEAN or GPS.
- Liaises with SCBU team to ensure formula design meets manufacturing capabilities in
- alignment with NPIR.
- Coordinates with Quality and Operations to resolve product non-conformances (incl. customer
- complaints).
- Provide periodic supervision of local operation and quality teams as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical education
- Preferred experience with natural ingredients
- Related experience of 2 to 4 years.
- Must be able to work independently and multi-task.
- Expert understanding of manufacturing technologies and product characteristics (such as
- emulsions, dispersions, spray drying and powder blending)
- Expert Understanding of Specification and Formula management, Industrialization, and Change
- Management
- Basic understanding of Food Safety and Quality Systems (such as GFSI, AIB, ISO, GMP, GHP,
- HACCP)
- Project management experience
- IT literacy essential
