POSITION SUMMARY: Provides fall prevention education and mobilization to patients within the hospital setting. |
|
EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science/Physiology/Kinesiology or Health Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science. |
|
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: BLS certification required. |
|
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required. Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with all levels within the organization and community under varied conditions. Excellent verbal, written, organizational and critical decision-making skills required. Strong leadership and adult education skills necessary. |
