About the Position:

• As Certified SUD/AOD Journey Counselor you will support the community by delivering face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP). Journey Counselors do an array of task ranging from Deliver treatment services of participants, Review treatment plans, evaluate and record treatment progress, recording visible changes in appearance, behavior and demeanor of program participants and participate in monthly, block, cross-training, curriculum training, technical assistance training or other training as appropriate.

This is a Non-Exempt position. The hourly wage is $33.60 per hour.

What You Will Bring:

Certified SUD/AOD Journey Counselors MUST meet one (1) of the following minimum requirements:

• A Master's Degree in social service-related field and registered with an AOD certifying organization recognized by DHCS.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a social service-related field, and ONE (1) year of certified experience providing SUDT services as a AOD counselor.
• An Associates' Degree in a social service-related field, AOD certified, and THREE (3) years of certified experience providing SUDT services as a AOD Counselor.
• AOD certified and more than FIVE (5) years of certified experience providing certified SUDT services as a certified AOD counselor.
