About This Position
Information Systems Tech is responsible for duties such as:

Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)

Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality

Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
-
Maintain and troubleshoot local networks in ways that optimize performance for both wired and wireless networks

Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
-
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
-
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work

Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)

Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes and maintenance schedule

Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
-
Assist in the Onboarding, Maintenance and Termination of user profiles within Active Directory and multiple Electronic Health Record Systems.

Maintain and Troubleshoot any issues with Nursecall Systems, Digital and Voip Phone/Fax Systems, Overhead Paging Systems and assist vendors with vendor provided equipment as needed
Education:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Computer science courses from high school or an accredited college or university are preferred.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Experience troubleshooting hardware and software installations. Proficient with MAC and Windows 10 & 11, printers, and networking. Knowledge of Voip and other types of phone systems and faxing. Ability to run and terminate Ethernet cabling. Familiar with Active Directory and maintaining user profiles. Excellent written and oral skills. Familiar with a range of software and hardware. Willing to travel to off-site locations. Ability to be on a rotating on-call schedule.
