Commercial Construction Lending Specialist in Evansville, Indiana at LIBERTY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a full-time Commercial Construction Lending Specialist. The candidate must be detail-oriented and provide an exceptional member and builder/developer experience. Commercial construction lending experience is preferred. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform all aspects of the construction draw process during the construction phase, including,
  • Setting up construction parameters specific to each loan
  • Process draw requests when received
  • Communicate with the member and builder/developer throughout the construction process
  • Monitor the use of construction loan funds
  • Order and review updates provided by third party vendors
  • Maintain records of payments to third party vendors
• Assist lenders with various tasks such as obtaining and reviewing documents from borrowers, ordering third party reports for loan transactions - appraisals, title work, flood, environmental due diligence, etc.
• Input commercial loan applications into credit system
• Perform daily loan maintenance, monitor exceptions, and update reports
• Collect and file financial information from clients
• Act as the point of contact between lenders and clients as necessary
• Perform research needed to resolve client problems in a timely manner
• Provide excellent service when interacting with employees, members or builders/developers
• Develop an understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures and policies
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management
