About the Role

As a Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for ensuring HVAC systems operate at peak performance. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of systems while delivering excellent service to our customers.

What you’ll do

1. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, split systems, etc.)
2. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
3. Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
4. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
5. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers
6. Complete service documentation accurately and on time
7. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards

What we're looking for

1. High school diploma or GED required, technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred.
2. 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
3. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
4. Experience working with rooftop units and commercial systems
5. EPA Certification required (Universal preferred)
6. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
7. Strong communication and customer service skills
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls

Nice-to-haves

1. Experience with chillers and large commercial equipment
2. NATE Certification (preferred)
3. Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) a plus
