Construction Intern in Las Vegas, Nevada at Blue Heron Companies

The Construction Intern will support the Construction team in day-to-day job site operations and project execution. This role provides hands-on experience in high-end residential construction, site coordination, and craftsmanship standards. The intern will assist with a variety of field tasks while learning industry best practices and maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with general job site tasks to support construction team needs
• Participate in site activities to gain exposure to residential construction processes
• Support team members with a wide range of assignments as directed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
• Follow instructions carefully and complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding assignments and progress
• Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality

Essential Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of construction practices
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment (OSHA knowledge a plus)
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures
• Access to reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites
• Eagerness to learn high-end residential building standards and craftsmanship
• Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions carefully
• Attention to detail and respect for quality workmanship
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as needed
