This role sits at the intersection of project delivery, client engagement, and team leadership within a fast-paced legal technology environment. You will oversee multiple concurrent client implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction. Acting as the main point of contact for key stakeholders, you will translate business needs into structured execution plans and guide cross-functional teams through complex delivery cycles. As a team lead, you will also mentor and manage a group of Project Managers, ensuring consistency in methodology, performance, and best practices. The role requires strong coordination across business and technical teams, as well as the ability to manage risk, expectations, and competing priorities effectively. This is a highly visible position where leadership, communication, and operational discipline directly influence client success and business outcomes.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end project delivery while ensuring strong governance, client satisfaction, and team performance across multiple engagements. You will be responsible for aligning scope, timelines, and budgets with business objectives while maintaining control over execution quality and risks.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver complex client implementations using structured project management methodologies and internal tools.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and ensure alignment with contractual requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans covering timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones.
- Act as the primary client contact, managing communication, expectations, escalations, and overall relationship health.
- Oversee project tracking, reporting, documentation, and progress updates using standardized systems and governance frameworks.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and issues proactively to ensure timely resolution and delivery success.
- Supervise and mentor Project Managers, ensuring adherence to best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.
- Ensure projects remain within scope and budget, including oversight of billing, invoicing, and change management processes.
This position requires strong experience in project management within complex, client-facing environments, ideally in legal technology or enterprise software implementations. You should combine leadership capability with strong execution discipline and excellent communication skills.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within legal software, professional services, or enterprise technology environments.
- Proven experience implementing platforms such as Aderant Expert or Elite 3E.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, risk management, and governance.
- Experience managing budgets, billing processes, scope control, and change management procedures.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members while coordinating multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
