Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Minimum (1) one year of recent/current acute care hospital experience preferred
  • Active NJ LPN License or Multistate LPN License with NJ Endorsement
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association
  • Graduate from an accredited NLN School of Nursing

Full Time

Essential Functions:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the supervision of a professional nurse and the nurse manager in providing patient care utilizing the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. He/She perform specific duties and are considered an integral part of the nursing team. He/She will assist in the gathering information and making observation regarding the patient’s condition. Responsible for consistently setting and evaluating priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement; utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualizes the plan of care to address a specific patient’s needs with the support of a professional nurse and/or the nurse manager.
