Asisstant Resident Care Director (ARCD)

Bethany Community Services is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Assistant Resident Care Director to help lead and support resident care services within our Assisted Living and Independent Living communities. The Assistant Resident Care Director partners closely with the Resident Care Director to uphold our mission through thoughtful leadership and hands-on support. This role helps ensure high-quality, consistent care across Assisted Living and Independent Living by supporting assessments, care planning, staff coordination, training, regulatory compliance, and family communication. The ARCD plays a vital role in fostering a culture of compassion, teamwork, and accountability.

• Assist with resident assessments, reassessments, individualized care planning, and documentation
• Help coordinate staffing schedules and provide supportive oversight to Resident Care Aides and nurses
• Participate in welcoming new residents and supporting smooth transitions between levels of care
• Serve as a resource for residents, families, and team members, promoting trust and open communication
• Contribute to staff training, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance (651 CMR 12.00)
• Participate in the nursing on-call rotation as assigned

• Licensed RN or LPN in Massachusetts (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in senior living, assisted living, or home health
• Supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally between properties
