Job Description

Director, Product Marketing Manager (Gym)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Product Marketing Manager (Gym) in United States.

This senior product marketing leadership role is focused on shaping how a flagship fitness software solution is positioned, communicated, and adopted across a diverse global customer base. You will own the end-to-end messaging architecture, go-to-market strategy, and lifecycle communications for a key product line, ensuring that value is clearly articulated to both SMB and mid-market fitness operators. The role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and customer success, requiring strong cross-functional influence and strategic clarity. You will play a critical part in translating complex product capabilities into compelling narratives that drive adoption, retention, and revenue growth. In addition, you will lead competitive intelligence efforts and ensure the organization stays ahead of market shifts. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned product marketing leader who thrives in fast-paced SaaS environments and enjoys building structure, strategy, and storytelling from the ground up.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and own the core positioning and messaging architecture for the product, ensuring clarity across segments, personas, and use cases.
  • Develop differentiated value propositions that translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for sales teams and customers.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for product launches, ensuring cross-functional readiness across product, sales, customer success, and onboarding teams.
  • Establish scalable launch frameworks that balance speed for minor updates with rigor for high-impact releases.
  • Drive lifecycle and customer communications strategy to improve adoption, engagement, retention, and product usage.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Onboarding teams to create educational content and adoption programs that reduce churn and increase product value realization.
  • Build and maintain a structured competitive intelligence function to inform positioning, enablement, and product strategy.
  • Translate market and competitive insights into actionable recommendations for product roadmap and GTM optimization.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Product leadership, influencing roadmap decisions through customer, market, and business insights.
  • Lead and develop the product marketing team, setting high standards for strategic thinking, execution quality, and communication excellence.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing with ownership of positioning and go-to-market strategy for complex, multi-audience products.
  • Proven ability to build foundational product positioning from the ground up, not just refine existing narratives.
  • Strong experience in sales-led growth environments where alignment with Sales and Customer Success is critical.
  • Demonstrated success influencing product strategy through market insights, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing product marketing teams with a strong coaching mindset.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives.
  • Strong competitive intelligence capabilities with a track record of translating insights into actionable GTM strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data, win/loss analysis, and customer insights.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance research, analysis, and strategic thinking in marketing workflows.
  • Ability to operate effectively as both a strategic leader and hands-on builder in fast-paced environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $155,200 – $170,100 USD annually, based on experience and location.
  • Eligibility for additional compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
  • Flexible open PTO policy and quarterly global “Days of Disconnect.”
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Parental and pawternity leave to support growing families.
  • Quarterly wellness reimbursement to support personal fitness and well-being.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for personal and professional support.
  • Calm App subscription for employees and eligible dependents.
  • Remote-first work flexibility within a global organization.
  • Strong culture focused on inclusion, growth mindset, and team collaboration.
  • Opportunity to shape a high-impact product marketing function within a leading global fitness technology ecosystem.
