The Spirit of the Position:

TheLeadValet Attendant plays a significant role in the company's success. They are the first person our clientsandcustomers seeupon arrivaland the last person they see when they depart. The shift lead ensures shifts run smoothly and that all team members meet client expectations!A warm welcome, smiling face,andprofessional demeanor are paramount.

What Will I Do?

• Parkand retrievecars like a champ. This means carefully, efficiently,andpromptly. Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs,anddevelop a rapport with each person driving up to your stand.
• Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars cleanandorganized, all with a smile on your face!
• Provide a self-reliant attitude when needed. Must be able to work with or without supervision.
• Promote extraordinary customer relations. Smile, go aboveandbeyond, and make them love LAZParking when they meet you.

You Are:

• Dynamic. Youre charismatic, energetic,andhappy to help in any way you can.
• Dependable. Responsible is your middle name. You neverdisappointbecause its not in your nature.
• You are a good driver with a driving record to prove it. You dont speed; youre cautiousespecially with other peoples property.You can also drive a standard transmission. Vroom, vroom!
• Good under pressure. You dont foldand get overwhelmed easily. Instead, you prefer chaos so you can kickitsbutt.
• Goodat communicating andhave the abilitytospeak, read,andcomprehendEnglisheasily.
• A team player. Youre open to different opinionsandcan help motivate your team.

Education:

• High school diploma or GEDpreferred but not required.

Experience:

• Strong customer service experience.
• Previous valet experience.
• Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Skills:

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Willingness to be flexible and work multiple facility locations.
• Ability to handle challenging and, at times, emotionally charged situations.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
• Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push, andpull at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, andrun for extended periods.
• Abilitytobend, stoop, squat, andlift frequently throughout a shift.
