Family Therapist (Licensed) at STEPPING FORWARD COUNSELING CENTER LLC – Yorba Linda, California

Stepping Forward Counseling Center, LLC (SFCC) is looking for a family therapist to join our multidisciplinary team of Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychologists, and Psychiatrists.

SFCC provides mental and behavioral health services for the child and adolescent population and their families.

Main Functions

As a family therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to our clients and their families in SFCC's IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program), PCP (Partial Care Day Program), and outpatient programs by taking a holistic and evidence-based approach.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Current state licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, AMFT, ASW, APCC)
• Experience providing mental health services to the child and adolescent population and their families
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mental health conditions

Responsibilities

• Conducting initial evaluations/assessments and developing treatment plans for clients
• Providing psychoeducation and psychotherapy sessions to clients and their families
• Monitoring and evaluating clients' family’s progress towards treatment/behavioral goals
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
