Opportunity:

We are seeking Data Entry Clerks for an assignment that could lead to long term or recurring assignments. The Data Entry Clerk will work with the internal data management team at the LIFE SURGE headquarters

Responsibilities:

• Transfer data from paper formats from our events into database systems using laptop and mouse
• Decipher handwritten information from forms and data enter the information into our database withhigh levelof accuracy
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Update existing data
• Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, as well as a fast andaccuratetypist with a keen eye for detail (40-45 wpm, accuracy 80-90%)
• Proven experience as data entry clerk
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
• Basic understanding of databases
• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
• Great attention to detail
