Good Sam is seeking a WEEKEND Intake Specialist for our service areas. This individual will manage incoming referrals and assist in arranging the services necessary for initiating hospice care. Computer proficiency and management of multiple systems are required.
The schedule is - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm.
As our Intake Specialist, you will:
- Monitor hospital and email systems for new referrals
- Initiate electronic (EMR) for new intakes and referral
- Complete insurance reviews and certifications for new referrals
- Arrange DME and systems required for admission
- Coordinate scheduling of visits for hospice admission
This position is in an office setting, NOT a remote position.
