Tampa Family Health Centers is seeking a dynamic Credentialing & Enrollment Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end provider credentialing and payer enrollment operations. This is more than an administrative role — it is a critical leadership position that directly impacts provider readiness, regulatory compliance, and revenue cycle performance.

Position Overview

The Credentialing & Enrollment Manager oversees the complete lifecycle of provider credentialing and payer enrollment. This role ensures all providers are credentialed accurately, enrolled efficiently, and maintained in full compliance with regulatory and payer requirements to support uninterrupted reimbursement and operational success.

This leader will supervise credentialing staff, collaborate across departments, interface with external vendors and payers, and continuously improve systems and workflows to increase efficiency and performance.

What You’ll Do

Credentialing & Enrollment Oversight

• Manage the full credentialing lifecycle for all providers, ensuring timely and accurate submission of documentation.
• Maintain and audit provider profiles in credentialing databases such as CAQH and other credentialing platforms.
• Monitor and track expirations of licenses, certifications, registrations, and other credentials; ensure proactive renewals.
• Oversee payer enrollment applications and delegated credentialing agreements.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle and Billing teams to support timely reimbursement.

Compliance & Regulatory Excellence

• Ensure compliance with CMS, NCQA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
• Respond to payer audits and regulatory documentation requests.
• Maintain credentialing documentation in accordance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices.

Leadership & Operational Performance

• Supervise, mentor, and develop credentialing and enrollment staff.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to credentialing timeliness, enrollment status, and compliance metrics.
• Generate and present reports on credentialing performance, compliance status, and operational trends.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement workflow enhancements to optimize efficiency.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare credentialing and payer enrollment.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of credentialing standards and payer enrollment requirements.
• Experience with delegated credentialing agreements and payer contracting.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle operations and healthcare billing.
• Proficiency with credentialing software (e.g., Qgenda, CAQH) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of CMS, NCQA, and HIPAA regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and team-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Frequently required to sit; occasionally required to stand and walk.
• Frequently required to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Occasional bending, twisting, climbing, and reaching.
• Moderate concentration and prolonged mental effort required.
• Moderate level of decision-making complexity.
• May be exposed to infectious diseases and environmental distractions.
• Work environment noise level is typically moderate to loud.
