As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting the digital future for leading global companies by transforming complex business processes into seamless, data-driven experiences. Framework & Pipeline Development: You will design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and PySpark, while building reusable custom frameworks within cloud technologies such as AWS and Snowflake.
Infrastructure Automation: You will implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud-based data environments and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless infrastructure deployment.
Orchestration & Workflow Management: You will develop and maintain data models, transformations, and orchestration workflows using Managed Airflow to ensure efficient data processing.
Optimization & Performance: You will proactively monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to maintain strict SLAs, while optimizing query performance, storage costs, and compute resources across the ecosystem.
Data Governance & Observability: You will ensure high data quality, observability, and lineage tracking, implementing best practices for monitoring and governing critical data assets.
Technical Expertise: You must possess strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing, alongside hands-on experience with the AWS suite (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift) and expertise in Snowflake performance tuning and schema design.
Automation & Orchestration: You should have a deep understanding of Terraform for infrastructure automation and extensive experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
Software Engineering Standards: Proficiency in version control (Git) and the ability to implement CI/CD for data pipelines are essential, as is experience with any code-based ETL/ELT tools.
Problem-Solving & Communication: You are a pragmatic problem-solver who can work independently in fast-paced environments and communicate complex technical concepts effectively in fluent English.
