- Guide teams on scalable, maintainable, and production-ready application patterns
- Lead decisions on container orchestration and deployment strategies in AWS
- Champion AI-enabled development workflows and mentor engineers on best practices
- Collaborate with IT, security, and engineering leadership to align architecture with compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, FERPA, COPPA)
- Ensure observability, diagnosability, and resilience of all services in production
- Develop and maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, and standards for consistent implementation
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation or Terraform), and cloud-native deployment practices
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and tools
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across infrastructure, IT, and engineering teams while maintaining architectural oversight
- Experience in regulated environments (education, healthcare, finance) preferred but not required
- Strong analytical, communication, and mentoring skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment

- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) plan with company match
