- Develop and implement consultant relationship strategies, focusing on growth opportunities and strengthening existing partnerships
- Identify and engage potential new consultant partners and verticals to expand market reach
- Collaborate with internal teams—including sales, product, legal, and marketing—to align strategies and optimize resource allocation
- Analyze partner data and track key metrics to assess performance and inform strategy
- Present solutions and value propositions to consultant stakeholders in various industry contexts
- Support account teams in improving consultant engagement, sales, and retention efforts
- Monitor market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies to benefit consultant relationships
- Serve as a trusted liaison between internal stakeholders and consultant partners
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in benefits consulting, consultant relations, or business development in the employer health benefits industry
- Established network of consulting and broker contacts with deep industry knowledge
- Proven ability to independently prioritize, plan, and execute multiple initiatives while driving relationship strategy
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills at all organizational levels
- Experience delivering compelling presentations and articulating solution value to stakeholders
- Comfort working in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Preferred: experience in chronic condition management, Salesforce familiarity, consistent achievement of revenue or retention targets
