Redwood Grove Post Acute is a compassionate and resident-centered skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and creating a welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff. We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our community.
Position Summary
The Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations by greeting visitors, answering phone calls, supporting administrative functions, and assisting staff as needed. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and staff in a warm and professional manner
Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly and accurately
Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with facility check-in procedures
Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, and data entry
Distribute mail, packages, and messages
Assist with scheduling, resident appointment coordination, and communication activities
Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
Maintain a clean and organized front desk/reception area
Perform additional duties as assigned by administrative leadership
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred, especially in healthcare
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and positive customer service attitude
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, scheduling systems, etc.)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and take direction from supervisors
